Would you like your child's school to include a challenging scholastic experience along with a values-centered education? How about a school family who welcomes each new student individually? How about a school where lifelong learning and lifelong friendships begin?
That's just what St. Rose-McCarthy Catholic School has been doing since 1917. We work to educate the whole child: Mind, Body, and Soul. We achieve this with tried-and-true Catholic principles of education, along with the best that contemporary educational research has to offer.
We stay current so students stay competitive. Like the public schools, all of our teachers are credentialed or working toward their credential.
Children receive instruction in faith matters and attend weekly Mass and monthly Reconciliation. Our academics are rigorous with an aim toward assisting children to be ready for advanced placement courses in high school. And our students bond with one another by participating in numerous athletic, music, community outreach, and social activities.
We are long-time members of WCEA, Western Catholic Educational Association and WASC, Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Our most recent WCEA accreditation review was conducted in 2022, and we were awarded an impressive seven-year accreditation.
You'll be pleasantly surprised at how affordable a private Catholic education can be. Our tuition is much lower than other private schools plus financial assistance is available.
All students are welcome regardless of Faith.
We are proud to have several teachers trained to use EBLI — with proven strategies to help struggling readers.
